Full scope of services from conceptual design to completion
Wassenburg produces high-quality washing and sterilization devices for medical equipment. Initially assembly takes place with imported parts, but as the Vietnamese market matures, more locally-sourced materials will be used. The products are intended for the European market.
The project consists of a 2-storey office building designed to operate as a regional training centre, a canteen, an assembly workshop, a warehouse for raw materials, small parts and finished goods, and additionally, utility building, guardhouse, covered car park and covered bike park. The office and workshop are air conditioned, but the warehouse is mechanically-ventilated.
The project was designed to make maximum use of a narrow deep site, and allowance has been made for a 100% future extension of the workshop and warehouse, while still allowing for a secondary function to be located at the rear of the site.
