Botanic II is a 22 stories apartment building with a 2 story basement. The apartments vary from 70 to 200 m2. The lower levels of the building are dedicated to retail and entertainment facilities.
Haskoning Vietnam’s design was to make the actually building time as short as possible. The basement was constructed while the upper part of the building proceeded as well. Once the basement was completed it was anticipated that the super structure was 5 floors above ground level.
The main structure existed of a concrete frame with a flat slab structure floor system. The façade of the building consisted of glazing. Because the building was located on weak and poor soils, 65 meter boor piles were used to found the building.
